The same intake, where it would run

The standalone concept argues the plan-pick intake; this page places it. One document in the responsive shell, shown twice: at desktop, where the plan card assembles in a sticky aside beside the questions, and at 390px, where the rail has folded to the drawer, the plan summary is the second row of chrome, and the action sits in the bottom third under the thumb. Nothing is redrawn for the phone. The shell folds, and the intake goes with it.

Drawn, not built · proposal One document · two frames Rule kit shared with the standalone Shell laws · responsive shell v1
Desktop · the rail docked, the plan card in a sticky aside ≥ 861px
390 × 844 · the rail folded to the drawer (☰) · plan summary as row 2 · action in the bottom third

Both frames load /concepts/shell-responsive-v1/plan-pick.html — open it directly and resize the window past 860px to watch the rail fold with the intake inside it. The arrival and step switches above reload both frames with the same deep link. Tagged (Sep 25): the desktop frame opens with the Measure drawer — every option, chip, Back, Skip and plan action carries data-track, each question fires onboarding.intake.view, and the drawer lists what fired, its consent disposition and the server stamp it maps to. Kit: app-v35/ui/track.js; the tagging plan is on the workspace first-run page.

Placement — on the Overview, at activation

  • Activation is "a prominent card on the dashboard; the user keeps full navigation" (relay-app activation.ts). Opening that card takes the content area — the rail, the search and the account stay. Not a screen-trap, by the same rule the app already keeps.
  • The topbar title reads the job (Set up your plan); the eyebrow counts the steps; Skip — decide later is on every question. Skip lands on Free, and Re-size my plan lives under Plan in the rail.
  • A Team pick hands off to the workspace first-run (create · members · welcome · set up with your agent, in this same shell); a Pro pick hands off to Checkout; Free and a trial grant go straight to First Relay, Step 1, on the Overview.

Phone — the shell folds, the intake goes with it

  • Law 5: the rail becomes the drawer behind ☰. No bottom tabs. The intake never grows its own chrome.
  • ≤ 2 rows of chrome: the topbar, then a one-line plan summary (Team · 3 seats · $45 / mo + Skip) that stays put while the questions scroll — the phone's version of the desktop aside.
  • Primary action in the bottom third, sticky: Back and Continue (or the plan's own action) in a fixed bar under the thumb. Single-select screens auto-advance, so the bar carries only Back there.
  • Targets ≥ 44px; options stack to one column; the seat stepper's buttons are 36px in a 44px row on coarse pointers.

One rule, two placements

  • Fixtures and the right-sizing rule live in concepts/app-v35/ui/plan-pick.js. The standalone concept and this shell page both load it; neither carries its own copy. A change to the rule shows in both.
  • The argument, the reference verdicts, the edge cases and the metrics stay on the standalone page. This page only answers "what does it look like where it runs".
  • Built vs drawn is unchanged from there: the activation plan picker, the access grant, the attribution columns, the funnel stamps and the connect picker are real; the questions, the rule, the persistence and the plan_picked stage are proposals.
