Companion, not a port

No transfer composer, no admin, no web mirror. Mobile owns everything that happens when you're away from the work. Same object model and vocabulary as web; mobile-native layout.

Every screen that depends on network or device permission has a failure mode: offline banner, failed send with retry, denied mic permission, an expired Code. None of these are optional dress-up: Relay's core loop is approve/deny and send/claim, both of which fail sometimes.

Menu is a sheet, not a fifth screen

Tapping Menu no longer navigates anywhere — it slides the sheet up over the current screen and tab bar (the same slide-and-collapse pattern as the tools sheet), and collapses back down on a second tap, the backdrop, the × , or by picking any other tab. Nothing underneath is lost; you're never more than one tap from where you were. Content is unchanged from the old You tab: identity, this-week stats, the Explore/tools entry, Security, Settings.

The bell, and why Activity absorbs both jobs

A persistent bell (top-right, every screen) opens the same dropdown-panel pattern proven in the Relay Agent concept — a quick-glance list, "View all in Activity" underneath. Its badge is the same number as the Activity tab's, because Activity is the one unified space for notifications and activity: "Needs you" (actionable) sits at the top of the same feed as the read-only history, rather than splitting into two competing inboxes. The bell is a shortcut into that feed, not a second one.

Tools, profile, security: same set as everywhere

Home's Jump to a feature row opens the same Graph/Streams/Explore sheet as the Relay Agent concept's tools panel (Explore visible-but-locked, never hidden), sliding up over the tab bar rather than pushing a new screen. Menu's Security section mirrors Relay Agent's quick-glance profile panel (passkey, active sessions). See briefs/SPEC.app-components.md for the full cross-surface matrix; Wearable is the one surface that opts out of all three on purpose.

Canon carried

Neutral surfaces, teal on touch points only, ink-flip primaries in dark, Cormorant italic for glance moments, Codes always mono, honest time, fail-closed, WCAG AA.
