Four typefaces. Each with a distinct role. This specimen documents every size, weight, and pairing in the v3.3 system — and frames the final display-font decision.

03–04 · Display Options
Two headline approaches. Option A is the preferred direction. Compare both side by side to make the final call.
Option A · Cormorant display + Outfit UIPreferred
Context transfer
Load what you need. Share what you've made.
Relay captures your working context — tools, tabs, decisions — and lets you drop it anywhere. Keep your team in sync without the re-explanation.
The pipe runs both ways.
Not just a handoff — a live channel. Push context forward to a new session, or pull it back into the one you're in. The relay stays open until you close it.
Your Relay Code
QNHC2C
Elegant, softens the technical edge. Editorial presence. Strong contrast with Outfit UI.

Clean, modern, consistent. Less contrast between display and body.
05 · Pairing Rules
01
Cormorant is italic for display — never upright for body. Cormorant's upright cuts are too classical for UI text. Reserve the italic for marketing moments: hero headings, section titles, editorial pull quotes.
02
Outfit handles everything UI. Nav, buttons, forms, labels, tooltips, body copy, error messages, loading states — all Outfit. Weights 300–600 are in scope; 700 for h1 only.
03
Syne is the wordmark — nowhere else. It exists to make "RelayCTX" recognisable. Using it as body text, headings, or any UI element is out of scope. No exceptions.
04
JetBrains Mono is strictly codes and metadata. Relay Codes, session IDs, timestamps, API keys, eyebrow labels. Never use it for paragraph text, headings, or marketing copy.
05
Never mix Cormorant and Syne as competitors. Two display-weight, personality-forward typefaces on the same surface creates tonal noise. If Cormorant is doing display work, Syne stays in the wordmark. Always.
