Three mark directions building on the locked v3.4 system. The current boxed mark is a dark-mode artifact in a light-mode-first brand — the geometry was never the problem; the container was. Direction A is selected and shipping; B and C are preserved here for the record and the ratification discussion.
briefs/SPEC.pulse-motion.md · CSS: /brand/relay-pulse.cssThe broadcast geometry, unboxed. Same centre, same eight directions — free on the surface in system teal, heavier strokes that hold their own. A responsive mark system: full (8 rays, ≥28px), compact (4 rays, 16–27px), core (dot, ≤15px). Containers are contextual — an app icon gets a tile; the web gets nothing at all.
The easter egg becomes the identity: centre dot + two open rings, openings facing north-east — the direction of send. Owns the pulse completely, unmistakable at 16px, but steps away from the 8-ray equity.
Two arcs in rotational symmetry — two parties — and a dot travelling the gap between them: context in transit. The product story in three strokes; echoes the v3.5 orbital-arc language. Most conceptual; most abstract at small sizes.
